Services
I provide website development, customization, maintenance, updates, and related web services as agreed with the client.
The exact services, features, deliverables, timeline, and price will depend on the individual project agreement.
Project scope
Each project is completed according to the agreed scope.
Requests, features, pages, revisions, or other work that falls outside the original scope may require additional time or payment. I will communicate this before starting significant additional work.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate content, information, approvals, and access reasonably required to complete the project.
Delays in providing required materials, feedback, or access may affect the project timeline.
The client must also ensure that any content, images, text, logos, or other materials they provide can legally be used for the project.
Payments
Project pricing and payment schedules are agreed before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, work may begin after the required initial payment has been received.
Any additional work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.
Revisions and approvals
Projects may include a defined number of revisions depending on the agreed service.
A revision means a reasonable change to previously agreed work. New features, new pages, or major changes to the original direction may be treated as additional work.
The client is responsible for reviewing and approving completed work.
Project timelines
I will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the agreed timeframe.
Timelines may change when there are delays caused by missing content, delayed feedback, third-party services, technical issues, or changes requested by the client.
Third-party services
Websites may rely on third-party services, plugins, themes, hosting providers, APIs, or other software.
These services are subject to their own terms, pricing, availability, and limitations. I cannot guarantee the continued availability or behavior of services controlled by third parties.
Ownership and intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed, the client receives ownership of the final website work created specifically for the project after all agreed payments have been completed.
Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts, stock assets, libraries, and other materials remain subject to their respective licenses.
I may retain ownership of reusable development methods, code components, tools, techniques, or other materials that are not created exclusively for the client.
Website maintenance
For ongoing maintenance services, the specific services included, update frequency, response expectations, and pricing will depend on the agreed maintenance plan.
Maintenance does not automatically include redesigns, new features, major development work, or third-party service costs unless specifically included.
Cancellation and termination
Either party may request to end a project or ongoing service.
Payments for work already completed or costs already incurred may not be refundable.
Any unfinished work, final files, access, or other deliverables will depend on the payment status and the terms agreed for the project
Confidentiality
Information shared with me for the purpose of completing a project, including business information, project details, and private materials, will be treated as confidential and will not knowingly be shared with unrelated third parties unless required to provide the service, required by law, or otherwise authorized.
Limitation of responsibility
I will make reasonable efforts to provide reliable and functional work, but I cannot guarantee that a website will always be completely free from errors, downtime, security issues, third-party failures, or other unforeseen problems.
I am not responsible for problems caused by third-party services, hosting providers, changes made by the client or others, malicious attacks, or circumstances outside my reasonable control.
Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to my services, website, or business practices.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
